Unique raised and formed grains, mottled and variegated metals, rich and luscious leathers, rare and multidimensional stone; all come together in a carefully and artfully composed vignette that gives due respect to the richness of the mountain environment and the world beyond.

No roads, no cars, no power lines. A picturesque 45 minute boat ride from the nearest dock. Dolphins, manatees, ibis, herons and pelicans guide you to the anchorage. No man made landscaping here, just mangroves, cabbage palms, beach vines and scrub grass traversed by a sand path. Arrival is a magical experience.

A truly massive master crafted stone fireplace anchors the living room and custom designed and built cabinetry and paneling abound.

This fresh coastal style retreat is the result of a full scale renovation of a tired and dated condominium in a beachfront mid-rise from the 70’s. A home away from home that relishes the many pleasures of the beautiful gulf side community of Park Shore in Naples Florida.

Perched on the shore of Lake Michigan in a family compound designed by Studio EA, this lake house was designed to nestle in to the idyllic verdant site which is bounded on one side by a marina whose facilities are all assembled from dry-set local on site stone, and on the other by Green Bay. The same stone used in the marina is used in the water-table , patios, garden walls and chimneys as well. True to the owners love of yachting, millwork in general and certain rooms in their entirety utilize classically associated maritime materials such as teak, ash, brass, and fine built-ins in general.

This is quite possibly the most exquisite home Studio EA has had the pleasure of seeing through to completion. The client was what all architects that strive for excellence dream of. They didn’t just want the best that we could achieve, they wanted to unequivocally use the finest of materials and truly and verifiable world class craftsman. This estate was to be lyrical, full of narrative, and a treasure that would deeply reflect the owner’s values, journeys, and essence of character and be able to express those traits to future generations. Note the vertical plane radii on the the stone of the stair, the monel railings inside and out that were custom designed and hand forged, the hand carved stone capitals, the hand selected stones set in the custom mosaics throughout, the intricate marquetry in the upper hall, or the playfulness of the children’s bedrooms.

Studio EA often provides conceptualization and visualization services to clients around the world. Here we created an image for an international land development company for a first class golf club in India. The planning and programming was informed by the larger mission statement of the client and the unique character of the raw land and local culture.

This vineyard was conceptualized for a client developing new cities in India. As a working vineyard, the essence of the design places the vine as its central element. Fine dining, both public and private, and luxury villa suites for overnight guests, a wine shop, vast stone cellars, and corporate offices are all accommodated. The scale is commanding and the style is a recognition of the home fields of the grape varieties to be nurtured on the sun baked slopes.

Studio EA was hired to visualize this diplomatic retreat. Separate and secure circulation systems for both the site and the structures, hardened habitation, and onsite housing for a staff of 250 were just a few of the design challenges as they are all aspects of the functioning of the property that guests were to never notice. Housing for heads of state, athletic facilities, meeting facilities, and the myriad of support facilities all had to be considered.

Studio EA was asked to explore the possibilities a unique site on Biscayne Bay offered for the development of a destination night club. The flair of Miami with its vibrant multicultural energy was captured and celebrated with an exciting see and be seen scheme that looked out as much as it was a beacon that could be seen for miles up and down the bay.

While density is a must for responsible and sustainable use of resources, it is a concern of pronounced importance in India. Studio EA was commissioned to conceptualize an urban neighborhood that is planned to include 36 high rises averaging 20 stories in height. The scheme we arrived at provides for middle class housing that nurtures family values and security, inspires young and old alike, and allowed for physically and mentally healthy engagement with the outside. The play between the concave and convex surfaces of the buildings, the patterned facades facing the central linear green spaces, and unit wide terraces are just a few of the design tools used to reach these goals.,

A client who is developing a massive tract of land in Bangalore, India, gave Studio EA a call after taking a bigger picture view of what surrounded the property. Namely; a University, extensive active and successful tech companies, and the new international airport. The idea was to draw all these interests and entities together and help assure the integration of the overall mega project into the larger city fabric. This Science Center was the result of our efforts. Massive in scale, but broken into comprehensible segments, the structure accommodates research, teaching, corporate offices, symposium spaces, and lifestyle amenities. The streetscape at ground level provides an ample and animated sheltered arcade for its entire perimeter. Multiple light paths are provided to break up the mass of the structures elements. A dynamic uplifting symposium and performance hall is the centerpiece to a raised plaza that is surrounded by eateries, small shops, and galleries and is also a sculpture garden.

This premier FBO accommodates two G650’s, provides covered parking for 19 cars, and offers a large comfortable waiting room supported by a full kitchen for passengers and their families. The facilities include mechanical libraries, secure parts storage, a kitchen designated to support flight service, offices for the owner, the pilot and the crew, map rooms, and full spa level baths.

Set on the shore of Long Island Sound and just an hour out of midtown Manhattan, the client can relish the serene beauty of this haven even if simply taking a minute to day dream in the middle of a hectic day at work in the Big Apple or while traveling the world.

Studio EA is proud to be the architect for the Hyatt Coconut Plantation resort in Bonita Springs, Florida. The central element of this project is a full service clubhouse that provides front desk and hospitality services, and shopping, dining, and entertainment facilities in a casual tropical environment reminiscent of the grand wooden Florida hotels of the early 20th century. This bustling clubhouse leads to a water park that provides numerous types of pools that cater to all ages, a lazy river, private chickee huts, an open air bar, and general guest services such as towel, game, and drink service.

The Hyatt Coconut Plantation resort in Bonita Springs, Florida, is a 365 key timeshare project. Studio EA is proud to have designed a facility that truly stands out in terms of quality, amenities, and overall environment. Each unit has two bedrooms, a well appointed living and ding room, a full kitchen, luxury baths, and expansive private decks. Half of the units allow for the second bedroom to be used as a lock out.

Calm tropical colors, wide wraparound veranda, mahogany millwork, gracious reception, and wall-less closing area, all work to set this property apart from it’s competition.

Studio EA designed this hip upscale Persian eatery for the proprietors of Bha! Bha!. Located on Naples, Florida’s, famous 5th Avenue South, this restaurant has become a favorite destination. A modern aesthetic was careful to honor the properties theme and the client’s desire to provide authentic cuisine in a fresh and vibrant environment.
